FOREWORD FROM THE AUTHOR

Welcome to this book about cross-browser development. In today’s world, web designers and developers can create the most awesome websites and applications ever seen. The possibilities of current web technologies have increased to a level where it’s really hard to keep up with new developments. This book focuses on the ever-changing browser- and mobile device-market. Chrome and Firefox have switched to a rapid-release cycle which means they release new versions of their browsers month after month. Just to keep a few websites compatible will soon be a day job and a nightmare to handle. With this book, I hope to make the life of some web designers and developers a little easier.
