Windows 10 Support: BrowseEmAll

Today Microsoft released the latest version of their flagship operating system Windows 10. As a user of our cross-browser testing solution you might want to know if and how we support the new operating system and of course the new Microsoft browser called Edge. Below we’ll try to answer the most common questions. If you still need to know more feel free to reach out to us anytime, we are here to help!

Does BrowseEmAll run on Windows 10?

The latest version of BrowseEmAll is fully capable of running on Windows 10. All features will work just as on older Windows versions like 7 or 8. With this BrowseEmAll does support Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. You can simply download the setup of our homepage and install BrowseEmAll without limitations.

Is Microsoft Edge supported in BrowseEmAll?

Currently, we support Microsoft Edge in cross-browser reporting, screenshot generation, and running Selenium tests. We are still working on getting Microsoft Edge ready for live testing inside BrowseEmAll. Because Microsoft only makes Edge available on Windows 10 all of the above features (with the cross-browser reporting as an exception) are only available if BrowseEmAll is running on Windows 10.

Can we test for Microsoft Edge on older Windows versions?

Microsoft has not made any plans to make Edge available on older Windows versions therefore BrowseEmAll currently only supports testing for Edge on Windows 10. If you just want to quickly get a screenshot of your page you can use or free tool DoesItWorkOnEdge.

Is Internet Explorer still available on Windows 10?

Yes, testing for Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 is still possible with BrowseEmAll on Windows 10.
